Booking of Ola e-scooter can now be done for just Rs 499. Ola Electric recently announced that customers interested in buying its scooter can book it for just Rs 499. This amount is also refundable. The name of this e-scooter from Ola could be S1. According to the information collected by Financial Express from the official trade registry of the government, Ola Electric has got trade marking of three names done. These names are S1, S1 Pro and Series S.

Scooters can be launched under S1, S1 Pro and S series

Going by these names, it seems that there will be two variants of the S1, S1 Pro Ola electric scooter. The S1 could be its entry-level variants, while the S1 Pro could be the more expensive and upgraded version. The Series S could be the range under which Ola is going to launch its electric scooter. It could be a limited or special edition of the Ola e-scooter. It is being said that Ola e-Scooter can also launch its scooter on the lines of Ather Series1. It may also get glossy body panels like the scooters of the Ather Series1.

Price may be around Rs 1 lakh

Ola e-Scooter has said that it will aggressively price its e-vehicles, so its price is expected to be around Rs 1 lakh. Apart from this, it can also get large under-seat storage, wide range and mobile app-based keyless access. The Ola e-Sector can compete with the Ather 450x, TVS icube and Bajaj Chetak. Ather 450X and TVS iQube are considered to be the best among the electric scooters currently available in the Indian market. It is expected that Ola’s new electric scooter can give a tough competition to both of them.
