If customers do not link their PAN card and Aadhar card by September 30, then they may face problems. The bank has said that their services may be interrupted. What has SBI said
SBI has written on its official website, “To avoid any inconvenience, we advise our customers to link their Aadhaar and PAN card with each other at the earliest.” Let us tell you that linking PAN and Aadhar card has become mandatory. If you do not do this then you may have to face problems in the future. The last date for linking PAN card and Aadhar card is near. In such a situation, before September 30, you must link your Aadhaar and PAN.
PAN and Aadhaar linking process
You have two ways to link PAN and Aadhar card. First SMS and second Income Tax website.
1- If you want to link PAN and Aadhaar through SMS, then you have to SMS UIDPAN<space>12 digit Aadhaar number<space>10 digit PAN number to 567678 or 56161.
You can do this through the website link
You have to login on incometax.gov.in. There you will click on link Aadhaar then a new tab will open. Where you will be asked for information related to PAN and Aadhaar. Once you complete the process, your PAN will be linked with Aadhaar.
