Maruti Suzuki New Cars: If you are thinking of buying a new car, then wait a few months. Maruti Suzuki is going to bring updated versions of its four popular models, which include Baleno, Ertiga, XL6 and Vitara Brezza. Apart from this, the next generation Maruti Celerio hatchback is also going to arrive in October 2021. When will the rest of the models come, let’s take a look.
Maruti Celerio
The new generation Maruti Celerio will be the first model that will come in the market. According to reports, some dealers have also started taking bookings for the new Celerio. The new hatchback will come with a better interior design, a more refined 1.2-litre petrol engine that is used in the WagonR. If compared to the old Celerio, then the new one will be bigger, safer and lighter.
Maruti XL6
Maruti XL6 will come in the market next year i.e. 2022. This will be the first car to have a 1.5L diesel engine. The updated version of this crossover-MPV is expected to hit the showrooms in January 2022. In its updated version, there will be minor changes in the exterior and interior versions. Right now it comes in 6 seater, the new model will come in 7 seater version.
Currently, the MPV model comes with a 1.5-litre petrol motor boosted SHVS smart hybrid system.
Maruti Vitara Brezza
A lot of changes can be seen in the interior and exterior of the second generation Maruti Vitara Brezza. It can come with Maruti diesel powertrain. The subcompact SUV could be brought in a BS6-compliant version of the 1.5L diesel motor and 6-speed automatic gearbox instead of the current 4-speed unit. There will also be an option for the 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15B naturally aspirated petrol. This time, however, it will get stronger hybrid technology
Maruti Ertiga
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has always been known for its comfortable and spacious interiors. This MPV can be launched next year with some minor changes. This MPV will continue to be available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid SHVS technology. The 2022 Maruti Ertiga will also come with a BS-6 compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Maruti Baleno
The next gen model of Baleno, one of the most popular premium hatchback cars of Maruti, will come in the year 2022. According to the report, a lot of changes can be seen in its look. Most of the changes will be cosmetic only. Like the current model, the new model will be offered with 1.2L K12 and 1.2L DualJet SHVS engines and 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options.
