The country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) gives a special facility to its customers to update the passbook. Now there is no need to go to the branch for this. You can update your account passbook by visiting any nearest ATM. SBI provides the service of Passbook Printing Kiosk (SBI Passbook) in the name of Swayam kiosk at many places. For any bank, the passbook is the most important internal record of the financial health of that customer. With the help of bar code technology, account details can be printed on the passbook.
Passbook will be updated in just a few clicks
You can print the details of Saving Account, Recording Account and PPF Account.
There is an automatic printing machine itself, which is attached with the ATM. SBI says that there is no longer a need to stand in line to update the passbook. You can update and print your passbook with just a few clicks from the machine itself. According to the bank, the passbook can also be updated through the m-passbook feature in the YONO Lite app.
How does self work?
- Self-service (Swayam kiosk) passbook printer is an automated machine.
- The machine itself does the work of print with barcode technology. For the first time, you will have to take a barcode sticker from your branch.
- After getting the bar sticker, you have to choose your language in the kiosk machine itself.
- Print command has to be given by putting the passbook inside the machine.
- If printed on more than one page, then flip the page.
- Your passbook will be updated without any hassle.
m-passbook with SBI Yono App
- First of all download SBI YONO App from Play Store.
- Login to the app with your account details.
- After login, you have to click on Account.
- Click on My Balance section.
- Now select savings account here
- On clicking, you will be able to see all the transactions here.
- Now you can also download M-Passbook.
Check Statement through Internet Banking
- First of all login to internet banking by visiting the bank’s website https://www.onlinesbi.com/.
- When the page opens, go to My Accounts and Profile.
- Go to Account Statement in the quick links on the left.
- Select Account Number. If there is only one account, click on it.
- Can select the date for the statement period.
- Select the option to view or download the statement and click on go.
- Now your account statement will be downloaded.
