State-run telecom company BSNL is making constant efforts to compete with Jio and Airtel. In this episode, now BSNL has launched the cheapest broadband plan for its customers. This plan is much cheaper than other telecom companies. BSNL’s new broadband plan is offering 100GB data to users for just Rs 299. Let us know that while JioFiber’s basic broadband plan is Rs 399, Airtel XStream Fiber Basic plan is Rs 499. Unlimited internet is available in both the plans with the speed of up to 40Mbps. That is, BSNL’s plan is cheaper than both of these plans.
BSNL’s Rs 299 broadband plan details
Before taking this plan, note that BSNL’s Rs 299 plan is available only for new customers. None of the existing customers can subscribe to this plan. Users can use this plan for six months. For which they will have to pay Rs 299 every month. With this plan of BSNL, 100GB data will be available with the speed of 10 Mbps. After using 100GB of data, users can continue browsing the internet with a speed of 2 Mbps. Let us tell you that along with the DSL connection, users can also get a free landline connection from the company which offers unlimited calling facility to the users. There is no over-the-top (OTT) benefit provided with the plan.
Users can avail this plan for up to 6 months.
Note that since this plan is an introductory plan for new customers, users will automatically migrate to 200GB CUL broadband plan after six months if they manually opt for any other plan. do not choose. The 200GB CUL plan offers 10 Mbps speed with 200GB monthly data for Rs 399 per month. With this, users can also opt for BSNL’s Super Star 2 DSL broadband plan which comes with OTT benefits of Disney+ Hotstar Premium. This plan offers 1,110GB data at 10 Mbps speed for Rs 949 per month. Along with this, the customer also gets a free landline or fixed line voice calling connection along with unlimited calling benefits.
BSNL is the biggest player in the broadband business
Let us tell you that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) runs the largest broadband business in India. The company has been providing broadband internet services for a long time and earns a lot from DSL broadband services. While some users are now opting for BSNL’s fiber broadband plans, there are many customers who are still happy with the facilities that come with a DSL broadband connection from BSNL. Although BSNL does not have this Rs 299 plan and comes with lower internet speed than the companies, but still it is a good plan considering the price.
