7th Pay Commission: Another good news on the DA front! Salary of employees can increase up to 95,000, know how

7th Pay Commission: Central employees are already going to get 28% dearness allowance in September. But now another good news is coming for the employees. The government may soon add dearness allowance for June as well. If this happens, then central employees will get 31 percent dearness allowance instead of 28 percent in September. Let us tell you that the dearness allowance for June 2021 has not been decided yet, but it is clear from the data of AICPI that it will increase by 3%. There is no information about when it is to be paid. According to JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra, it is to be announced soon. According to the 7th Pay Commisson Matrix, the level-1 salary range of central employees ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. That is, the minimum salary of a central employee is Rs 18,000 and on the basis of this, we calculate how much salary an employee will get in the month of September.

Calculation on 28% Dearness Allowance

Basic Salary of the employee – Rs 18,000
New Dearness Allowance (28%) – Rs 5,040 per month
Dearness Allowance so far (17%) – Rs 3,060 per month
How much Dearness Allowance increased – Rs 1980 Increase
in annual salary per month – 1980*12 = 23760 rupees

Calculation on 31% Dearness Allowance

Basic Salary of the employee – Rs 18,000
New Dearness Allowance (31%) – Rs 5,580 per month
Dearness Allowance so far (17%) – Rs 3,060 per month
How much Dearness Allowance increased – Rs 2520 per month
Increase in annual salary – 2520*12 = 30240 rupees

Calculation on maximum basic salary

Now the same calculation is done on the maximum salary given under Level-1. The maximum salary at Level-1 is Rs 56,900 and according to 28% allowance, the annual dearness allowance on this basic salary will be Rs 1,91,184. However, if we talk about the difference, then the annual increase in salary will be Rs 75,108.

Calculation on 28% Dearness Allowance

Basic Salary of the employee – Rs 56,900
New Dearness Allowance (28%) – Rs 15,932 per month
so far Dearness Allowance (17%) – Rs 9,673 per month
How much Dearness Allowance increased – Rs 6259 per month
Increase in annual salary – 6259*12 = 75108 rupees

Calculation on 31% Dearness Allowance

Basic Salary of the employee – Rs 18,000
New Dearness Allowance (31%) – Rs 17,639 per month
Dearness Allowance so far (17%) – Rs 9,673 per month
How much Dearness Allowance increased – Rs 7966 per month
Increase in annual salary – 7966*12 = 95,592 rupees

According to 31 percent dearness allowance, the total annual dearness allowance on the basic salary of Rs 56900 will be Rs 2,11,668. However, if we talk about the difference, then the annual increase in salary will be Rs 95,592.
