Employment from PM Gati Shakti
Prime Minister Modi told Red Fort on the occasion of 75th year of independence that PM Gati Shakti Yojana will bring employment to lakhs of youth. The Prime Minister said that the need of the hour is to properly and fully utilize the potential of the people of India to take India to new heights in the 21st century, it is very important. For this the class and the area which is behind, they have to hold hands and bring them forward.
Holistic Approach needed
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will present the National Master Plan of Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana in front of the country in the coming times. A plan of more than ₹ 100 lakh crore will be the master plan that will lay the foundation for holistic infrastructure. Right now there is no coordination between different modes of transport in the country, PM Gati Shakti Yojana will help in breaking this deadlock. Connecting the country will help
Now is the time to end the era of isolation in the infrastructure sector. For this, a very big plan has been prepared to connect the entire country with multi-modal connectivity infrastructure.
100 lakh crore spent on NIP
PM Modi said that the ambitious target of connecting the country with the National Infrastructure Pipeline Project (NIP) can be fulfilled. Modi said, “India is moving towards spending more than Rs 100 lakh crore on NIP. Objective of NIP
The NIP was initiated with 6,835 projects. Later it has been increased to include 7,300 projects under it. These projects of NIP require investment of more than Rs 110 lakh crore during the year 2020-25. According to the Modi government, India needs to spend around $1.4 trillion (Rs 100 lakh crore) on infrastructure to achieve a GDP of $5 trillion by 2024-25.
