WhatsApp first introduced the Disappearing Messages feature in November last year. As of now, only 7 days option is available in this for the message to be deleted automatically. According to a report by WhatsApp features tracker WABetaInfo, the 90-day option for disappearing messages has been seen in the Android beta version 2.21.17.16 of WhatsApp.
WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot saying that 90 days option can also be available for disappearing messages along with the existing 7 days option. It seems that WhatsApp has also put a 24-hour option. Because, it can also be seen in the screenshot. It is expected that this new option for disappearing messages is still under development. It has not yet been made available to beta testers. However, it can be released to all users in the near future.
