JEE Advanced Exam Centre: No JEE advanced exam in foreign countries this year

JEE Advanced exam for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will not be conducted abroad this year.

There will be no Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance abroad this year. This information has been given by the organizing institute Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. However, eligible students from abroad can join at any Indian center at their own cost. An official statement said, “Keeping in view the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19 in India and abroad, it has been decided that JEE Advanced 2021 will not be conducted in any foreign centre/country. Foreign candidates can, however, appear for JEE Advanced 2021 exam at any Indian center of their choice at their own cost (including travel etc.) after adhering to the government’s required travel norms.

For candidates from SAARC countries, the JEE Advanced 2021 exam fee is USD 75 and for students from non-SAARC countries, the fee is USD 150. It further said, “Registration fee does not include service fee, processing fee and any other charges that banks may levy. The registration fee cannot be refunded or transferred.

Candidates who are not citizens of India, OCI, PIO card holders will be treated as foreign nationals. Foreign nationals who have studied 10+2 level or equivalent in a country other than India need not write JEE Main 2021 exam and can directly apply for JEE Advanced 2021 subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria Huh. However, those studying 10+2 in India will have to appear in JEE Main 2021, an official statement said.

“All foreign national candidates will be considered in addition to the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify to appear in JEE Advanced 2021,” it said.

When will JEE Main result come?
National Testing Agency, NTA has concluded JEE Main Exam 2021 for session 4 on September 2, 2021. The result of JEE Main exam will be released by September 10. Students will be able to check their result by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. To check the result, candidates have to log in with the help of application number and date of birth.
