Life Certificate process will last for two months
Digital Life Certificate news: According to Sukriti Gupta, Assistant Director General (PO) in the Department of Posts, this year the department will start taking Digital Life Certificate from October 1, 2021. This process will continue for two months. From October 1, pensioners of 80 years and above can give their Life Certificate. They have to deposit it by visiting the Jeevan Pramaan Center of the post office or can also take online service.
Jeevan Pramaan Center in all post office headquarters in the country
According to Sukriti Gupta, Jeevan Pramaan Centers (Life Certificate Centers) have been opened in all post office headquarters of the country. If Jeevan Pramaan Center IDs are not working in any Head Post Office then they should be activated immediately. Also, where they are not, they should be installed immediately. This work should be done by 20 September 2021 in any case.
Pensioners below 80 years
SS Tiwari, former president of AG Office Brotherhood, said that pensioners below the age of 80 years will be able to give their Digital Life Certificate between November 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021. Jeevan Pramaan Centers have been set up for them too. By going there, they can submit Digital Life Certificate through Aadhaar Verification. Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare will also alert other departments about this.
