According to the complainant, the officer had already taken Rs 4 lakh from him and then was demanding the remaining Rs 8 lakh. The victim of the case, who did not want to bribe the officer, approached the ACB on Friday and lodged a complaint against Puranik.
Let us tell you that on the allegations made by the complainant, the ACB has taken action and clarified that in fact the remaining Rs 8 lakh was demanded from the victim.
