>> Log on to the direct UIDAI link ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/.

>> After this click on Proceed to Update Aadhaar.

>> Now enter the 12 digit UID number.

>> After that enter the given captcha or security code.

>> Now Click on Send OTP Option.

>> After this OTP will come on the mobile number registered with your Aadhar card.

>> After receiving the OTP, enter it and click on Login.

>> Here you will see the details of your Aadhar card.

Here you have to submit one of the 32 documents mentioned. Select it and submit it. Your address will be updated.

The documents recognized by UIDAI for home address are as follows

  • Bank statement / passbook
  • Passport
  • Post office account statement / passbook
  • Ration card
  • Voter ID card
  • Driving license
  • Government photo ID card
  • Electricity bill
  • Water bill
  • Telephone landline bill
  • Property tax receipt
  • Credit card statement
  • Insurance policy
  • Documents with photograph written on the letterhead of the bank
  • Documents with photographs on the letterhead of the registered company
  • MNREGA job card
  • Arms license
  • Pensioner card
  • Freedom Fighter Card
  • Kisan Passbook
  • CGHC Card
