SBI has changed the rules for withdrawing cash from ATMs. The bank has taken this step to make withdrawing cash from ATM more secure, under which you will not be able to withdraw cash from ATM without OTP.

This information is important for SBI account holders. To make team withdrawal more secure, the bank has made it OTP based. That is, without OTP, you will not be able to withdraw cash from the ATM machine. Under this, to withdraw cash, customers have to first fill the OTP received on their mobile phone there, only after that the cash will come out. The bank itself has given information about this by tweeting and said that this initiative has been taken to make ATM transactions more secure.

When you enter your PIN number to withdraw cash from SBI ATA, you will be asked for OTP. This OTP will come from the bank on your registered phone number. With this 4 digit OTP, you will be able to do a single transaction. That is, if you want to withdraw more cache, then the process will have to be repeated again. After entering the OTP on the screen of the ATM screen, you will be able to withdraw cash.

According to the information given by the bank, this rule will be applicable on withdrawal of 10000 and above. The bank has appealed to the account holders to get their mobile number registered with the bank immediately, otherwise OTP will not come on your number and you will not be able to withdraw cash. In such a situation, if you have not got your number registered or have changed the number, then get it updated in your bank account immediately.
