New Delhi: DA Hike 5th cpc, 6th cpc: There is once again good news (7th Pay Commission) for central employees. There is good news for the employees who are getting salary on the basis of recommendations of 6th and 5th pay commission. There has been an increase of 12 percent in the dearness allowance of these employees.
According to the Office Memorandum (OM) issued by the Ministry of Finance, ‘Dearness allowance of central employees and employees of central autonomous bodies has increased by 7 percent according to the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission. At the same time, on the basis of the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, the dearness allowance of central employees and employees of Central Autonomous Bodies (CAB) has been increased by 12 percent.
6th CPC: 7% hike in DA
According to an Office Memorandum (7th Pay Commission Latest News) issued by the Ministry of Finance on November 1, the DA Basic Pay of employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies (CAB), who are paid salaries under the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission, has been increased by 189 percent. The tax has been increased to 196 per cent. This increase will be considered effective from 1 July 2021.
5th CPC: 12% hike in DA
According to an office memorandum of the Ministry of Finance, the DA basic pay of employees of the Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies (CABs), who are paid salaries under the recommendations of the Fifth Pay Commission, has been increased from 356 per cent to 368 per cent. This increase will be considered effective from 1 July 2021.
Will be applicable from 1st July 2021
The ministry has issued an office memorandum on November 1, in which it has been said that according to the recommendations of the Fifth and Sixth Pay Commission, the increased dearness allowance will be given to the central employees and employees of central autonomous bodies from July 1, 2021.
All the ministries/departments under the central government have been asked to implement the pay scale as per this recommendation. For this, orders have also been sent to the departments.
