This new BSNL fiber broadband plan priced at ₹ 399 gives 30 Mbps speed up to 1000 GB, after that your downloading speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. BSNL mentioned that after the ‘Fiber Experience 399’ plan expires, users will automatically switch to the Rs 499 fiber basic broadband plan. Additionally, BSNL offers unlimited voice calls to any network at no extra charge. Also, users can get unlimited 2% reward points while paying for the plan with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. According to Telecom Talk, the ₹399 plan will be available in limited regions – Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Telangana and Kerala.
What is available in BSNL’s ₹ 449 plan
The BSNL Fiber Basic plan of ₹ 449 also offers 30 Mbps downloading speed up to 3.3 TB data usage. Similar to the ₹399 plan, once you reach the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit, the speed will drop to 2 Mbps. If you are choosing this plan, then you will also get unlimited voice calling facility on any network in India.
Other Broadband Plans
Apart from BSNL’s entry-level fiber broadband plans and basic fiber plans, the telco also has a few other broadband plans. Bharat Fiber Superstar Premium 1 plan, priced at ₹749, offers 100 Mbps downloading speed with 100 GB data usage which is then reduced to 5 Mbps.
Another plan, BSNL Bharat Fiber Superstar Premium 2, priced at ₹949, offers 150 Mbps internet speed up to 200 GB data usage, which is then reduced to 10 Mbps. Both the plans offer free OTT subscription to SonyLIV Premium, VooT Select, YuppTV Live. These plans are available in all the states of India except Andaman and Nicobar.

Other telcos like Airtel and Jio also have entry-level broadband plans. The ₹399 JioFiber broadband plan offers unlimited internet at 30Mbps speed, although there is no OTT subscription involved, but it does include unlimited voice calls. The Airtel Xstream broadband plan costs ₹499, which includes unlimited internet speeds of up to 40 Mbps, as well as subscriptions to Airtel Xstream, Wynk Music and more. Exitel, which offers unlimited data with speeds of 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps for ₹ 699, ₹ 849 and ₹ 999.
