Worship Method of Devotthan Ekadashi

After making a sugarcane pavilion, make a square in the middle. After this, if you want, you can keep a picture or idol of Lord Vishnu in the middle of the square. Along with the square, the footprints of God are made, which are covered. After this, sugarcane, water chestnut and fruit-sweets are offered to the Lord. A lamp of ghee is lit which keeps burning throughout the night. In the morning the feet of the Lord are duly worshipped. Then they are awakened by touching the feet. At this time the sound of conch shell-ghanta and kirtan is done. After this the story of fasting is heard. After which all the auspicious work can be started duly.
