Life Certificate: Life Certificate Submission: The government has introduced face recognition technology ‘face recognition system’ as a proof of ‘Life Certificate’ for pension holders.
Life Certificate: The Central Government has issued ‘Specific’ technology with face recognition as a proof of ‘Life Certificate’ for pensioners on Monday i.e. 30 November. Face Recognition Technology is a special technology for face recognition. While launching this technology, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said that, ‘It will be of great convenience to retired and elderly pensioners. With the help of this face recognition technology, pensioners can be confirmed alive.
Retired and elderly pensioners will get convenience
Actually, it is necessary for all pensioners that they have to submit their life certificate at the end of the year. This certificate is in the form of proof, on the basis of which the pension of retired and elderly pensioners is continued further. He said in a tweet that ‘Unique ‘face recognition technology’ has been launched, which will help crores of pensioners in the country to easily submit life certificates through a mobile app.

Singh said, “The central government has been sensitive to the needs of pensioners and has been trying to make their lives easier. After coming to power in the year 2014, the government started the facility of digital life certificate for pensioners. Now this face recognition technology will help them even more.
Lakhs of pensioners will get benefit
He further said that the introduction of this face recognition technology for giving Life Certificate is a historic and far-reaching improvement. This will not only benefit 68 lakh pensioners of the Central Government but also those who get pension from EPFO and state governments. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, on this occasion, the Minister of State has thanked the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology as well as the Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI) for bringing this technology to the fore.
