But, now the latest reports say that Disha Vakani, who plays Dayaben, is all set to return to the show after a break of a few months. Needless to say, these reports have once again got the fans excited about the show. Sources claim that Dayaben has demanded a hefty fee from the makers for every episode.
1.5 lakh fee demand
According to the reports, Disha has demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for each episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Apart from this, she also has a condition that she will shoot only for 3 hours a day. Because, she wants to give her time to her family too. However, till now neither Disha Vakani nor the makers have given any response on these reports.
Let us tell you, Disha Vakani started her acting career in 2004 with the hit TV show Khichdi. After this, she appeared in several Gujarati shows, but she was recognized nationwide by her character of Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which took her to the heights of popularity.
