Amul Price Hike: Amul has increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per liter. The new prices will be applicable from August 17.
Amul Price Hike: Inflation has hit the common man one more time. The country’s largest dairy brand Amul (AMUL) has increased the prices of milk. Milk prices have been increased by Rs 2 per litre. Now people will have to pay more money for 500 ml of Amul milk. According to the new prices, customers will now have to pay Rs 31 for a 500 g pack of Amul Gold, Rs 25 for a 500 g pack of Amul Taza and Rs 28 for a 500 g pack of Amul Shakti.
New prices will be applicable from tomorrow
In a press release, Amul said that the new prices will be applicable from tomorrow i.e. August 17. The effect of this increase in prices will be in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Delhi, NCR, Mumbai and West Bengal.

Why the prices increased
Regarding this increase in prices, Amul said that the cost of production of milk is increasing. Along with this, operational costs are also increasing. In view of this, the price of milk has been increased by Rs 2 per liter.
