Army Helicopter Crashes: A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Army met with an accident on Wednesday near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. One pilot was martyred in the accident, while the other is undergoing treatment. An officer of the Indian Army has confirmed this.
It is being told that the incident took place around 10 am. After the accident, both the pilots on board the helicopter were taken to the nearest military hospital, where Lt Col Saurabh Yadav, who was seriously injured, succumbed to his injuries.

According to an official statement from the Army, it is with regret that we inform that one of the pilots, Lt Col Saurabh Yadav, who was seriously injured, succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The second pilot is undergoing treatment. As of now, no information has been received regarding the cause of the accident.
Last year the country’s first CDS was martyred
