UKPSC Recruitment 2022: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, UKPSC has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Jail Warder. Through recruitment, the posts of male and female jail warders will be filled in various jails of the state. Interested and eligible candidates for recruitment can fill their application form by 5 December 2022 by visiting the official website psc.uk.gov.in.
A total of 238 vacancies are to be filled under the recruitment. In which 214 posts are for men and 24 posts are for women. Candidates will be selected on the basis of physical eligibility and written test. Physical Eligibility Test will be held first, in which successful candidates will be called for written test. In the physical test, male candidates will have to participate in events like ball throw, markup, long jump, penalty shootout and running. On the other hand, women candidates will have to participate in the race and markup.
Explain that the physical examination will be of total 100 marks, in which to be successful, the candidates will have to score at least 50 percent marks in each event. Talking about the physical criteria, the minimum height of the candidates should be 165 cm. However, it is 160 cm for the candidates of hilly areas. And the minimum weight should be 55 kg.
12th pass candidates can apply for the recruitment. Apart from this, the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 35 years. Selected candidates will be given a pay scale of Rs 21700 to 69100. For other information related to recruitment, candidates can follow this link
