Smartphone brand Vivo has simultaneously launched its two new foldable phones Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip. Both these phones have been introduced in three color options and two storage options. Vivo X Fold 2 gets 120 Hz refresh rate with 8.03 inch E6 AMOLED LTPO inner display. There is also support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision with the display. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is available in Fold 2 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor is available in X Flip. Let’s know about the price and other features of the phone.
Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip price
Both smartphones have currently been introduced in the domestic market. Vivo X Fold 2 has been introduced in Shadow Black, Red and Blue color options. The phone comes in two storage options. The price of 12GB RAM + 256GB of the phone is 8,999 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 1,07,500) and the price of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is 9,999 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 1,19,400).
Vivo X Flip is priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,600) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option and CNY 6,699 (roughly Rs. 80,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. X Flip comes in Diamond Black, Purple and Silk Gold color options. However, the company has not made any announcement regarding the launch of the phone in India.

Vivo X Fold 2 gets 8.03 inch E6 AMOLED LTPO inner display. The display offers resolution 2,160 x 1,916 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. There is also support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision with the display. On the other hand, the phone has a 6.53-inch AMOLED panel on the outside, which has a resolution of 2,520 × 1,080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. This outer display comes with SCHOTT UTG Glass Cover.
Android 13 is available with OriginOS 3 in the phone. Vivo X Fold 2 has been introduced with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS4.0 internal storage.
Talking about the new Vivo fold camera setup, a triple rear camera unit is available in it. The phone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMCX866 primary and Zeiss T lens coating with OIS support. The secondary camera gets a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a third 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The phone has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfie. In-house imaging chip V2 is also supported with the camera.
The Vivo X Fold 2 packs a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse charging. For security, both the inside and outside display panels come with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA / NSA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3 LE, GPS and NFC connectivity are available in the phone.

The phone has a 6.74-inch FullHD Plus AMOLED display, which offers (2,520 × 1,080) pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The secondary display in the phone is a 3-inch AMOLED panel. With this, 682 x 422 pixel resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate are available. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and LPDDR5 RAM support up to 12 GB is available in the phone. UFS3.1 storage is available up to 512GB in the phone. Android 13 based OriginOS 3 is available in the phone.
Vivo X Flip’s dual rear camera setup is available, which includes a 50-megapixel primary lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The 32-megapixel selfie camera is given in the inner display panel. The Vivo X Flip packs a 4,400mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The phone also supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.3, LE, and GPS connectivity and comes with a USB Type-C port for charging.
