The summer season has arrived, and e-commerce platforms in India have already started prepping for the sale season. Amazon is the first to announce its summer sale in the country. It will be called Amazon Great Summer Sale and is expected to start soon. The sale date is still under wraps. A micro-site of the same has already gone live on Amazon website.

Amazon Great Summer Sale: Bank Offers
Amazon has announced the Great Summer sale. Besides the deals, the e-commerce platform in India will offer an additional 10 per cent discount on transactions done via ICICI Bank or Kotak Mahindra Bank debit or credit card. It will also provide additional discounts on EMI transactions.

Amazon is yet to disclose all the deals and dates for the Great Summer Sale. However, it has teased discounts on various categories.
As per the teaser, the mobile phone and accessories segment will get up to 40 per cent discount. It will include the latest launches including the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite (review), iQOO Z7 5G, and much more. The budget mobile phones will start from Rs 5,899 and users can also avail No Cost EMI starting at Rs 1,555 per month.
The electronics category that includes laptops, smartwatches, etc will get a massive 75 percent discount during the Great Summer Sale. Laptops will be available at up to Rs 40,000 discount while tablets will have up to 60 percent discount. Amazon has also listed 1 lakh free earphones and smartwatches however, details on them are yet to be disclosed.
Moving on to the summer essentials such as ACs, coolers, refrigerators, etc, they will get up to 60 per cent discount. Users will be able to get a new TV at an additional discount of up to Rs 5,000 by exchanging their old TVs.
Home and Kitchen appliances will get up to 70 per cent discount. This category includes home decor, kitchen appliances, furniture, mattresses, etc.
Clothes and other fashionable products will have a discount between 50 to 80 percent. Products from small businesses, books, toys, grooming products, etc will get up to 70 percent discount during the summer sale season.
Amazon in-house products such as Alexa, Fire TV, etc will get up to 40 percent discount whereas products from Amazon itself will be available at up to 70 percent discount.
Buyers can also get extra discounts by redeeming the coupons on selected products.
