The bank informed that some services will not be available due to planned downtime for system maintenance and upgradation.
What services will be closed?
Services related to balance check, deposit, fund transfer and other payments by mail will be closed on June 10 and June 18. The bank had closed banking services on June 4 between 3 am and 6 am for system upgrade. Along with this, it has been stated in the mail from the bank that all possible efforts will be made to reduce the downtime. HDFC Bank customers can access balance and other services through WhatsApp by registering and following simple steps.
Step 1 : Registration
First send “Hi” or “Register” on WhatsApp to 7070022222 from your bank-registered mobile number. You will be guided through the registration process. Save chat banking number 7070022222 in your contact list. Enter the last 4 digit Customer ID and OTP received by SMS on your registered mobile number.
Step 2 : Select from Options
Once you register your number, you will get the following options to choose from.
– Account Services
– Credit Card Services
– Apply for Product
– Other Services
Step 3 : Click on ‘Account Services’ for balance enquiry, transactions and other such service transactions. Hereunder, you will find the services and other information below.
