FD Rates : Big News! Check the new interest rates before doing FD in the bank, know how much interest is charged in which bank

Fixed Deposit Interest Rate : Recently most of the public and private banks in the country have increased the interest rate on their FDs. The country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) is offering 3 percent to 7.10 percent interest on FDs to common citizens.

Mumbai: Almost every middle class family invests some money in fixed deposits (FD). This investment not only increases their amount but also reduces the investment risk. Recently, most of the public and private banks in the country have increased the interest rates on their FDs. What is the rate of FD in which banks?

SBI

The country’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) is offering 3 percent to 7.10 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. On the other hand, the interest rate for senior citizens is 3.50 to 7.60 percent.

HDFC Bank

The largest private bank in the country, HDFC Bank is offering interest rates of 3 percent to 7.25 percent on FDs to common citizens. On the other hand, the interest rate for senior citizens is 3.50 to 7.75 percent.

ICICI Bank

ICICI Bank, one of the largest private banks in the country, is offering 3 percent to 7.10 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. Whereas for senior citizens, the interest rate is 3.50 to 7.60 percent.

PNB

Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the largest public sector banks in the country, is offering 3.5 percent to 7.25 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. The interest rate for senior citizens is 4.00 to 7.75 percent.

Axis Bank

Axis Bank is offering 3 percent to 7.10 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. Whereas for senior citizens, the interest rate is 3.50 percent to 7.85 percent.

Canara Bank

Canara Bank is offering 4 percent to 7.25 percent interest on FDs to the general public. The interest rate for senior citizens is 4 percent to 7.75 percent.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Mahindra Bank is offering 2.75 percent to 7.20 percent interest on FDs to the general public. On the other hand, the interest rate for senior citizens is 3.25 percent to 7.70 percent.

Union Bank

Union Bank is offering 3 percent to 7 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. The interest rate for senior citizens is 3.50 to 7.50 percent.

Yes Bank

Yes Bank is offering 3.25 percent to 7.50 percent interest on FDs to common citizens. On the other hand, the interest rate for senior citizens is 3.75 percent to 8.25 percent.

Bank of Baroda

Bank of Baroda is offering 3 percent to 7.25 percent interest on FD to common citizens. Whereas for senior citizens, the interest rate is 3.50 to 7.55 percent.
