New Delhi: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was approved in 2017. His work begins now. Construction of 1872 houses on 15 acres of land under the supervision of district authorities has started at Udham Singh Nagar district headquarters Rudrapur, a park and business complex will also be built in the project. Its registration is going to start on the portal of Urban Development Department.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 1872 houses for the poor of Rudrapur were given permission in 2017. But his work did not start even after six years. The central government expressed its displeasure in this incident.
Modi Maidan was identified for housing projects. But even that land was not considered suitable by the government. Then the district development authority came in search of land. Finally, district administration gave 15 acres of land for housing project in Bagwala of Rudrapur village.
DPR sent: District Development Authority has prepared and sent a DPR costing Rs.130 crore. Out of this, the estimated cost is Tk 112 crore. 18 crores in payment expenses. Government of India agencies UDA and WAPCOS have started the construction work after getting the government’s approval. A four-storey residential building and a commercial complex will be constructed there. More than 1872 applications have been received for the house. However, houses will be distributed through lottery.
Conditions: DDA Vice President Harish Chandra Kandpal said the registration will start soon on the Urban Development Department’s portal. Code number will be given after verification. Interested persons can deposit the registration fee of Rs.5000 through HDFC Bank.
District Development Authority is camping to participate in the application process. Applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand from before 2015. Income should be less than 3 lakh rupees. Also the application form can be submitted only in the name of the lady of the house. It is known that the price of the flat has been kept at 6 lakh rupees. Out of this, the government will give 2.5 lakh rupees. The remaining 3.5 lakhs should be paid to the beneficiary. The government will also provide loans.
