Central employees are demanding increase in fitment factor from 2.57 to 3.68 times. If the government accepts this demand, then there will be a tremendous increase in the salary.
There will be a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance
Looking at the current figures of inflation, it is being estimated in the media reports that there may be an increase of up to 4 percent in the dearness allowance of central employees. That is, his DA will increase from 42 percent to 46 percent. Due to this, a bumper increase in the salary of the employees can be seen. These state governments increased DA
Odisha government has increased the salary of its employees in the past. The state government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees from 38 per cent to 42 per cent. It has been implemented from January 2023. This will benefit around 7.5 lakh employees and pensioners of the state government. Apart from Odisha, the government of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana has also increased the DA of the employees.
