IMD Warning: Red alert issued for heavy rains in this state in 24 hours, danger of flood, know latest updates

At the same time, now IMD has issued a red alert for Meghalaya. According to the India Meteorological Department, on Thursday, July 13, 2023, the northeastern state of Meghalaya may receive more than 204.44 mm of rain. Due to this situation like flood can also come.

Flood and landslide hazard

According to IMD, due to rain, flood-like conditions may arise in the local areas. At the same time, the danger of landslide is also looming large. The Meteorological Center has advised people not to go to places where there is waterlogging. Apart from this, do not go to places with weak structure. Apart from Meghalaya, the Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for the northeastern state of Assam. On July 13, Assam may receive 204.4 mm of rain.

Red alert in West Bengal and Sikkim as well

The Himalayan region of West Bengal and Sikkim may also receive heavy rains on July 13 and 14. According to IMD, there may be more than 204.4 mm of rain. Due to this, situations like floods, landslides and flash floods can occur. In such a situation, do not go to the places where water is filled. Heavy rains (204.4 mm) may occur on July 13, 2023 and July 14, 2023 in many areas of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

Orange alert in these states including UP, Madhya Pradesh

IMD has issued Orange Alert for UP, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh. Let us tell you that the water level of Yamuna in the capital Delhi has crossed the Khare mark. Because of this flood like situation has been created. Orders have been issued to close all schools, colleges and offices in Delhi.
