There may be heavy rains due to yellow alert in Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar and Gonda districts. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas.
UP Weather alert Today: There is no relief from rain in Uttar Pradesh, it is expected to continue till July 20 in the state. Today on Saturday, orange alert has been issued in nine districts of the state and yellow alert in 50 districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclone forming in the Bay of Bengal can affect the weather of Kanpur region, due to which there is a possibility of heavy rains in many parts of the state.
According to the UP Meteorological Department, on July 15, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP and eastern UP. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places. There may be heavy rains due to yellow alert in Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar and Gonda districts. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas.
Flood risk increased in many districts
According to the UP Meteorological Department, there is a forecast of good rain in some districts of western Uttar Pradesh, there may be scattered rain in some districts with thunderstorms on Saturday as well. There will be good rains in and around Banaras on 16, 17 and 18 July. The weather will remain like this till July 20 and it is forecast to rain intermittently. In view of the flood in Hapur today, yellow alert has been issued and orange alert has been issued on 16-17. A red alert has been issued on July 18 in view of increasing danger. Apart from this, there is orange alert on 15th July and red alert from 16th to 18th July in Badaun. A warning has been issued for Ayodhya since 16.

- Rain is likely in Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Badaun, Kasganj, Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Firozabad, Agra, Mathura, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya and adjoining districts.
- Hardoi, Sitapur, Barabanki, Lucknow, Unnao, Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Banda, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharth Nagar, Maharajganj, UP There is alert in Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Deoria, Ballia, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra and surrounding districts.
Chances of rain till July 20
According to the UP Meteorological Department, on July 16, it will rain with thunder and lightning at many places in western and eastern UP. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some places.
On July 17, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP and at almost all places in eastern UP. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places in both the parts on Monday.
There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at almost all places in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 18. Heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places in eastern UP and heavy rain at one or two places in western UP.
On July 19, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western and eastern UP and on July 20, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western and eastern UP.
