Debit Cards: The central government has issued important directives to the banks. Certain features are required for issuing new cards and reissue of old cards.
Credit Card: A sweet treat for bank customers. Central government has brought good news. New services will be available. It can be said that this will give relief to many people. Most importantly, those who travel every day will benefit.
The Modi government has recently issued important directives to the banks. National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) should be the default option for all cards. Whether issuing new cards or reissuing old cards, the NCMC must ensure that there is an option.
In other words, if the old card holders have to reissue new cards, then the Center has recently told the banks to ensure that they have the default option of National Common Mobility Card. Also these cards should have contactless or near field function (NFC) facilities.
Due to this, banks are likely to issue more new cards on RuPay platforms. Most of the NCMC enabled cards are issued through the Rupay Network platform.
A senior official said that in the coming days all the cards offered by the banks will also have the NCMC feature. Offline wallets will also have this feature. He said that most of the public and private banks are not issuing NCMC cards with NFC function. That is why the Center has taken this decision.
If there is a National Common Mobility Card feature.. then bank customers can use their debit card as a travel card as well. It can be used in metro train and buses. NCMC Debit card holders can also avail RuPay Wallet services.
In this Rupay wallet Rs. Money can be loaded up to 2 thousand. Travel or other offer line payments can be made with this amount. That means parking and toll payments can also be made. In this way you can get benefits in all ways.
Also, retail shopping can also be done if the NCMC enabled feature is available. You can also withdraw money. The center has already brought this NMMC card under the name of One Nation One Card.
