Loan Update: Uttarakhand government is making efforts at every level to increase the livelihood of the people of rural areas. For which loans are being given to adopt self-employment through various schemes. So that farmers and other people of rural areas can get help. Under this, for the purpose of providing loans to the people of rural areas, Uttarakhand Cooperative Bank is now providing interest free loans to the farmers. Under which the cooperative society is providing loans without interest for agricultural works and animal husbandry. Whose benefits can be taken by any person living in rural areas.
While giving information Manoj Samant, President of Pithoragarh District Cooperative Society, said that the Uttarakhand government is moving towards increasing the livelihood of the villagers and the co-operative bank of the district is providing assistance to the farmers as a friend. Giving information about the schemes, he said that under the Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyay Loan Scheme, two phases have been made in the District Cooperative Bank, in which farmers, unemployed and women get loans of 1 to 3 lakh without interest under the MT scheme. And under ST phase, loan more than this is given in very low interest.
50 percent subsidy is available in home stay scheme
Samant said that 50 percent subsidy is also being given in the home stay scheme run by the government, as well as maximum loans have been given to the people in Pithoragarh by the cooperative bank under the Chief Minister’s Self-Employment Scheme. Because other banks are not able to give loan easily to the working youth. The effect of which is that today the youth who have migrated are coming back and getting employment through cooperative bank in their home areas. People willing to take loan can get information from their nearest cooperative society or can get information directly from the office of cooperative bank located in Bank Road.
