Weather Update: Meteorological Department issued red orange alert for heavy rain in 10 states for next 48 hours, know forecast of Meteorological Department

Today Weather Update: Rain warning has been issued in some areas of Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Gujarat including MP, UP. In the states of North West India, heavy rain warning has been issued in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh till August 12. For this, Red Orange Red was issued while heavy rains will be seen in Himachal, Haryana, Chandigarh till August 7. Along with this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu till August 10.

Highest rainfall record

Rajasthan has recorded the highest rainfall so far with 65% surplus. Union Territory of Ladakh has recorded 238% rainfall. On the other hand, 116% more rain has been recorded in West Rajasthan, while more than 35% rain has been recorded in East Rajasthan.   • A false one in the west wind is being seen in the middle troposphere. Whose axis is 5.8 km above sea level.

Weather during next 24 hours

  • Warning of moderate to heavy rain has been issued at one or two places in Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Jharkhand and some areas of North Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Moderate rains may be recorded over Karnataka including Jammu Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, other parts of Jharkhand, Odisha and some parts of Northeast India.
  • There is a possibility of light rain in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra including Gujarat, Orissa, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Heavy rain warning

Heavy rain warning has been issued in Jharkhand till August 9. There is a possibility of heavy rains in West Bengal on 8th August. There is a possibility of torrential rains for the next 5 days in Arunachal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and a light rain warning has been issued for the next 5 days in the Ghat area of central Maharashtra. Warning of heavy rain has also been issued in many areas. Rain activity is going to increase in many states of South India while heavy rains have also been predicted in Maharashtra and Goa.
