Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana is run by the Rajasthan government to make the life and future of daughters safe. In this, daughters are given help up to Rs 50,000.
To encourage the birth of daughters and to make them educated and empowered in the society, ‘Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana’ is run by the Government of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, assistance of Rs 50,000 is given to daughters from birth to 12th standard by the Rajasthan government. This help is given in different phases. Get money in 6 installments
- 2500 at the time of birth of a girl child
- 2500 rupees for one year vaccination
- 4000 rupees for taking admission in the first class of government school
- 5000 rupees for taking admission in class 6 of government school
- 11000 rupees for taking admission in class 10 of government school
- 25000 rupees on passing class 12 from government school
Who gets the benefit of the scheme
- Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana is a state government scheme, so only the daughters of Rajasthan will get its benefit.
- All those daughters who were born after June 1, 2016. are eligible for this scheme.
- If a daughter dies due to any reason after getting the benefit of one or two installments, then in such a situation if a daughter is born again as a child of her parents, then she will be given the benefit of this scheme .
- The first two installments of Rajshree Yojana will be given to all those girls who are born in a government hospital and a private medical institution registered with Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).
- The benefit of the next installments for education can be availed only when the girl child is studying in an educational institution run by the state government.
- If the third child is also a daughter, then the benefit of the first two installments is given to the parents.
What documents are needed
To take advantage of Rajshree scheme of Rajasthan, it is mandatory to have Bhamashah card and Aadhaar card. Women can get Bhamashah card made even during pregnancy. Apart from this, proof of address, birth certificate of the girl child and details of the bank accounts of the parents will have to be given.
How to apply
There is currently no online application facility under this scheme. The application has to be done offline only. For this you have to contact Government Hospital or JSY Registered Medical Institute. Apart from this, you can also contact Taluka Health Officer, Collector Office, Zilla Parishad, Gram Panchayat. For more information related to the scheme, you can contact the Program Officer, Women’s Empowerment or Chief Medical and Health Officer in your district.
