Banks will have 12 days holiday: The festival season has started in India. In such a situation, the holidays are also about to start. Banks are going to have 12 days holiday in the coming month by the Reserve Bank of India. There are going to be holidays in banks, in such a situation, if you want to do any work of the bank, then get it done immediately.

At the same time, after adding the holiday of Sunday and Saturday, there will be 16 days holiday in the banks next month. During this, bank branches will remain closed in different cities of the country. But online services will continue.

How long will the holiday last?

September 6 – Banks will remain closed in Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami.

September 7 – Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Jammu, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, and Srinagar on the occasion of Janmashtami (Shravan Vad-8)/Sri Krishna Ashtami.

September 8 – Banks will remain closed in Delhi on the occasion of G-20 Summit.

September 18 – Banks will remain closed in Karnataka and Telangana on the occasion of Varasiddhi Vinayaka Vrata/Vinayaka Chathurthi.

September 19 – Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, and Goa on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi/Samvatsari (Chaturthi Paksha).

September 20 – Banks will remain closed in Orissa and Goa on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi (2nd day) / Nuakhai. September 22 – Banks will remain closed in Kerala on the occasion of Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.

September 27 – On the occasion of Milad-i-Sherif, there will be bank holiday in Kerala and Jammu.

September 28 – Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Manipur, Uttara Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand on the occasion of Eid-E-Milad/Eid-e-Meeladunnabi. Banks will remain closed in Sikkim, and Jammu and Srinagar on September 29.
