DA Hike: Good news for employees, 4% increase in DR-DA, Finance Department order issued, see details inside

There is good news for 4.5 lakh retired employees. His dearness allowance has been increased by four percent. Orders have been issued for this. Under the order issued by the Finance Department, a big increase in their pension amount will be recorded. At the same time, dearness allowance will also be paid on the additional pension amount.

Employees DA hike: There is big news for lakhs of pensioners including retired employees of the state. His dearness allowance was increased by 4%. After the Cabinet approved the proposal, finally the order for this has been issued by the Finance Department.

After the issuance of the same order, retired employees and pensioners will get the benefit of increased dearness allowance from the month of July. Now they will be provided dearness relief at the rate of 42%. In the last cabinet meeting, the proposal was approved only by the state government.

Dearness allowance available to employees at the rate of 42%

Dearness allowance at the rate of 42% is being provided to lakhs of employees of Madhya Pradesh. However, the rate of dearness relief for pensioners was increased to 38%. Permission was sought from Chhattisgarh government by MP government to announce 42% DR. Due to not getting permission, the matter of increase in dearness relief was stuck.

Chhattisgarh government had sought permission

In August, Chhattisgarh government had written a letter to Shivraj government demanding permission to increase the dearness relief of pensioners by four percent. Accepting the proposal of Chhattisgarh, the Shivraj government has approved the proposal of increasing the dearness relief of pensioners by 4 percent.

Inflation relief will be available at the rate of 221%

Under the order issued, pensioners-family pensioners of Madhya Pradesh have been given an increase of 9% under the sixth pay scale from July 1, 2023. After this, now dearness relief at the rate of 221% will be provided to the pensioners receiving the sixth pay scale.

DR available at 42%

Dearness relief at the rate of 42% will be provided to family pensioners drawing the seventh pay scale. In the order issued, it has been clarified that dearness relief will also be paid on the additional pension available to pensioners who are 80 years of age or older.

Arrears will also be paid

The same 4.5 pensioners will be paid one month’s arrears along with the August salary received in the month of September. Along with this, their pension is expected to be increased by Rs 800 to Rs 6000.
