Employees Holiday: Big news for employees, Collector’s order issued on leave, following rules will be mandatory

There has been a ban on leave of employees and officers. In view of the shortage of officer staff, orders have been issued by the Collector. Holidays will be sanctioned by following the rules as per the order issued.

Employees Holiday: Assembly elections are to be held after 3 months. For which administrative preparations have started. As the elections approach, the Collector has started banning the leave of government employees. After Indore, now in Ujjain also the holidays of government officers and employees have been banned for election work. In view of the shortage of officer employees, casual and earned leaves have been banned for the officer employees of all government and semi-government departments of the district.

Order issued

There is a shortage of officers and employees in Ujjain for carrying out election related work for the Assembly Elections 2023. After which orders were issued by the Collector. In such a situation, a ban has been imposed on casual and earned leave for officers and employees of all government and semi-government departments of the district. The order has been issued by Collector and District Election Officer Kumar Purushottam.

Rules set

It is clear in the order that the head of the office will send the proposal along with his recommendation to the nodal officer for granting leave and casual leave of more than 2 days to any officer employee. The head of the office will be able to approve leave only after getting permission from the nodal officer.

For medical leave, it will be mandatory for the concerned government servant to submit the certificate sent by the Medical Board. The application for relief from election work in the Election Office Personnel Management Branch can be forwarded after getting the approval of the Office Head. It has been clarified in the order that all government and semi-government offices will be kept open even on holidays to receive mail. For this, the order has been implemented with immediate effect.
