Weather Update: Chances of heavy rain in these divisions, drizzle in 20 districts today, know IMD update

Due to the impact of the new system, heavy rains are expected in Indore, Jabalpur, Shahdol and Rewa divisions, while there will be light rains in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions due to less impact. Mixed weather may be seen in other districts.

MP Weather Alert Today: Before the departure of monsoon, the weather patterns are going to change once again in Madhya Pradesh, after the next 48 hours, heavy rains can be seen in many districts of the state. According to MP Meteorological Department, there is a strong possibility of a low pressure area developing in the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 to 48 hours, the effect of which will be seen from September 28 to October 2. Heavy rain is expected in Indore, Jabalpur, Shahdol and Rewa divisions, while light rain will occur in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions due to less impact. Mixed weather may be seen in other districts.

Chances of rain in these districts today

According to MP weather, due to local system before the new system, on Wednesday 24 districts including districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Indore, Ujjain divisions, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Morena, Shivpuri, Rewa, Satna, Anuppur, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder in Balaghat, Panna and Sagar districts.

In the next 24 hours, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Singrauli, Anuppur, Shahdol, Change in weather may be seen in Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat districts.

Heavy rain expected in these districts due to new system

  • Heavy rain is expected in Indore, Jabalpur, Shahdol and Rewa divisions, while light rain may occur in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Sagar, Gwalior and Chambal divisions due to less impact. Mixed weather may be seen in other districts.
  • A cyclone is going to form in the upper part of the air in the Bay of Bengal on September 29, with its effect on Alirajpur, Barwani, Burhanpur, Dhar, Indore, Jhabua, Khandwa, Khargone, Jabalpur, Katni, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Heavy rain is expected in Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli and Mauganj districts. Monsoon may withdraw from Madhya Pradesh from the first week of October.

What does the meteorological department’s forecast say?

According to MP Meteorological Department, at present a cyclone is forming in the upper part of the air over south-eastern Uttar Pradesh. A trough has formed from this cyclone to Telangana. A cyclone has formed in the upper part of the air over Chhattisgarh also. A trough has formed from this cyclone to Konkan. A cyclone is also formed in the upper part of the air over Tamil Nadu. Due to the two weather systems currently formed, many districts of the state including Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal may remain cloudy today. There are chances of moderate to heavy rains at some places, while the effect of the monsoon system, which will become active after two days, will be seen between September 28 and October 2.

Rain record from June to September

  • This year’s rain quota has been completed in Madhya Pradesh. The state has received an average of 36.94 inches of rain so far,
  • This time there has been 4% less rainfall in the eastern part and 4% more rainfall in the western part.
  • The rainfall figure in Narsinghpur is more than 51 inches. Whereas Satna, Ashoknagar, Rewa and Sidhi districts have received the least rainfall.
  • Jhabua, Burhanpur, Khargone, Narsinghpur, Seoni, Niwari, Ratlam, Bhind, Ujjain, Rajgarh, Dhar, Alirajpur,
  • Barwani, Khandwa, Katni, Chhindwara, Dewas, Sheopur Kalan, Harda, Betul and Anuppur districts have received more than normal rainfall.
  • Jabalpur, Sehore, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori, Shivpuri, Datia, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Neemuch, Agar-Malwa, Morena and Shahdol districts have received more than 90% rainfall than normal.
