LONDON- Tata-owned Vistara (UK) has recently made adjustments to its service schedule for the Mumbai (BOM) – London Heathrow (LHR) route during the Northern winter 2023/24 season, spanning from October 29, 2023, to March 30, 2024.
From October 29, 2023, to January 25, 2024, the frequency will be reduced from 5 to 4 flights per week, which remains unchanged.
Vistara Mumbai to London Flights
Starting from January 26, 2024, until March 30, 2024, there will be an increase from 5 to 7 weekly flights, with no operations on the following dates in February 2024: 08, 10, 11, 13.
Here is the flight schedule:
- UK015 BOM (Mumbai) 14:40 – LHR (London Heathrow) 19:00 on a 789 aircraft (Daily)
- UK016 LHR (London Heathrow) 20:55 – BOM (Mumbai) 11:15+1 on a 789 aircraft (Operates on all days except 4)
- UK016 LHR (London Heathrow) 21:00 – BOM (Mumbai) 11:20+1 on a 789 aircraft (Operates on day 4)
Initially, the airline had filed for 4 weekly flights for the entire season, except for 3 weekly flights from January 26, 2024, to February 4, 2024, and a suspension of service from February 5, 2024, to February 17, 2024.
300 Daily Flights
TATA SIA Vistara (UK) Airlines has increased its daily flight operations to 300 daily flights starting this month. Deepak Rajawat, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, confirmed this development, noting that it marks a significant expansion in their operations.
Prior to this, Vistara was operating approximately 270 flights per day.
Rajawat mentioned to FE that Vistara has been experiencing consistent demand across its network during the July-September quarter. This period is typically considered a weaker season for domestic travel, making the airline’s performance noteworthy.
Vistara has been experiencing consistent demand across its international network, particularly on its long-haul routes. Further, it has maintained steady traffic on domestic routes covering major cities and leisure destinations.
Currently, Vistara operates flights to 32 domestic and 15 international destinations, utilizing a fleet of 61 aircraft. This fleet includes 46 Airbus A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, and five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
