According to the latest information, metro service will start at 4.45 am on Sunday. Metro will run on all lines at an interval of 15 minutes till 6 am. And after six o’clock the services will run like a normal day.
Delhi Metro Timing: For the convenience of the participants of the half marathon starting from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, metro service will start at 4.45 am on Sunday. Metro will run on all lines at an interval of 15 minutes till 6 am.
After six o’clock, the metro will operate as per the normal day timetable. Volunteers will be deployed at JLN Stadium, Jangpura, Jor Bagh, Janpath and Rajiv Chowk metro stations to help the participants.
Getting metro ticket has become easier
Metro passengers can now book QR code-based tickets through Paytm mobile app. DMRC Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar said that this initiative will facilitate better and uninterrupted movement of passengers.

In recent times, Delhi Metro has taken several measures to facilitate digital ticketing, showing its commitment towards the “Digital India” initiative. Passengers can get the mobile QR ticket by entering their origin and destination stations in the ‘Metro’ section on the Paytm app.
At the time of journey, passengers will be able to enter and exit by showing their smartphone in front of the QR code scanner of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gate of the stations. Earlier this facility was available only on the Airport Express Line.
