Candidates who wish to get a job in Indian Navy can apply till 29th October. The qualifications for different posts have also been prescribed differently.
Government Jobs: Indian Navy (Indian Navy Recruitment) has invited applications for the post of Short Service Commission Officer for June-2024 course. The application process has also started. Interested candidates can apply till 29 October 2023. The total number of vacancies is 224. 100 posts are vacant in technical branch, 18 posts are vacant in educational branch and 106 posts are vacant in executive branch.
Eligibility and Selection Process
For Executive Branch, it will be mandatory for the candidates to have Bachelor in Engineering or B.Tech degree. Also, it will be mandatory to have 60% marks. For technical branch also, it will be mandatory to have BE or B.Tech degree with 60% marks. Apart from this, to apply in Educational Branch, it will be mandatory for the candidates to have 60% marks in M.Sc in the prescribed field. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks. After which they will be called for interview. Selected candidates will be appointed at Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.
