The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of generally cloudy sky and light rain. However, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature on Monday was 30.5 degrees, three degrees below normal. According to IMD, five mm of rain was recorded in the national capital till 8.30 am on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the air quality remained in the “moderate” category. The quality index was recorded at the level of 169. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the concentrations of both PM2.5 and PM10 in the environment were recorded in the moderate category at 169 and 156 respectively.
