School Holiday: There is relief news for school students. In the month of November, students will be given the benefit of big leave between festivals. The state government has also announced holidays in view of Diwali and other big festivals.
Holidays have been declared in schools across the country on account of the upcoming Diwali festival and Guru Nanak Jayanti including Maha Parishad. Students from 1st to 12th will benefit from this. In many schools, Saturdays are also declared holidays, whereas this month students will also get the benefit of four Sundays weekly holidays. The same two Saturday holidays will also be made available to the students.
Announcement of 6 days holiday on Diwali
In such a situation, there will be holiday in schools for 15 days this month. Chhattisgarh government has declared 6 days holiday on Diwali whereas Bihar government has declared 10 days holiday in schools on Diwali and Chhattisgarh. In Jharkhand, four days holidays have been declared on the occasion of Mahaparva Chhath while there will be four days holidays on Diwali. In such a situation, students will get the benefit of 8 days long leave.

- There will be a weekly holiday on 5th November as it is Sunday.
- Whereas Narak Chaturdashi will be celebrated on Sunday, 12th November.
- Diwali holiday was also declared on 12th November.
- Holidays will be declared in schools on Monday 13th November on the occasion of Govardhan Puja.
- Whereas on Wednesday 15th November, schools will be closed on the occasion of Bhai Dooj.
- Schools will remain closed on 19th November on the occasion of Mahaparva Chhath.
- There will be a holiday on Guru Tegh Bahadur on Friday, 24th November.
- Whereas on Monday, November 27, schools will be closed on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
