Bank Holidays: Banks will remain closed for so many days between 28 October and 12 November, check list here

October November Bank Holidays 2023: There is important news for all bank consumers. If there is any bank related work then get it done as soon as possible. Banks are going to be closed for about 9 days between the end of October and the first week of November, in such a situation, due to continuous holidays, the work related to banks of customers may be affected, however, online services will continue, due to which money transfer-transaction work can be done. Will be possible, but check book and pass book work may be affected.

Holidays in October and November include Saturday and Sunday holidays along with Karva Chauth, Dhanteras, Roop Chaudas and Diwali and other festivals. As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) instructions, banks will remain closed on all public holidays and some regional holidays depending on the state. Regional holidays are decided by the state government.

Online services will continue

  • Customers can use online services during bank holidays, because bank holidays have no effect on digital services like UPI, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking.
  • ATMs will remain operational during this period and if anyone has any emergency work to do with the bank, they can register their complaint by calling the helpline number issued by their banks.
  • Money can also be transferred through UPI, while you can use ATM for cash withdrawal. You can also do your work through Net Banking, ATM, digital payment.
  • You can also use credit and debit cards easily. You can transfer money from one account to another through net banking or mobile banking.
