7th Pay Commission: How much amount will the pensioners get after 4 percent DR increase, the government answered

7th Pay Commission Latest News: The central government had announced a 4 percent increase in DA and DR for employees and pensioners earlier this month.

7th Pay Commission: A memorandum has been issued by the Central Government department. It has been told that which pensioners will be given the benefit of increased dearness relief and when will they get the increased dearness relief? This information was given by the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) in a memorandum issued on 27 October 2023.

In the beginning of October itself, the Central Government had announced a 4 percent increase in dearness relief and dearness allowance of pensioners and central employees, which is effective from July 1. After this increase, the relief of pensioners and employees has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent. Now regarding this, information has been given by the Pension Department that when will the increased dearness allowance be available?

Whose DR will increase?

According to DoPPW, civilian Central Government pensioners or family pensioners, Defense Sector Armed Forces pensioners and civilian pensioners, All India Service pensioners, Railway pensioners, pensioners receiving provision pension and some pensioners from Burma will get the benefit of increase in DR. will be given. Apart from this, after the order of Justice Department, retired Supreme Court judge can also get the benefit of DR increase.

How much will pension increase?

The central government has increased the DR for pensioners by 4 percent. If the basic pension of pensioners is Rs 40 thousand then according to 42 percent DR the dearness relief will be more than Rs 16 thousand. After the new increase, the dearness relief in basic pension will be more than Rs 18 thousand. This means that pensioners will get a pension of more than Rs 1,000 every month.

Banks ordered to release pension immediately

According to the report of Economic Times, the government has said that banks should release pensions to pensioners as soon as possible. There is no need to wait for any instructions for this.
