Now the Delhi government has banned the entry of Uber OLA and other app-based cabs registered in other states in Delhi. Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai has made this announcement.
After this decision of Kejriwal government, only app-based cabs with registration i.e. only DL number will run in Delhi. Gopal Rai said that on the instructions of the Supreme Court, an order has been given to ban vehicles with registration outside Delhi based on the app.
Winter holidays declared in Delhi schools
Delhi government has announced winter vacation in view of increasing air pollution. Winter break has been declared in all schools from November 9 to November 18. Earlier, due to air pollution, Delhi government has closed physical classes in schools till November 10 and shifted to online classes. After the announcement of winter holidays, schools will now remain closed in the national capital till 18th November.
Odd even will be implemented in Delhi from November 13
People in Delhi-NCR are facing the brunt of pollution. Due to increasing pollution, people are facing health problems like difficulty in breathing, eye irritation and allergies. Kejriwal government of Delhi is taking various steps to control this. But so far these are proving inadequate. The air quality remains in the ‘severe’ category. In such a situation, Kejriwal government has recently announced to implement its 7 year old odd-even formula from November 13.
Which train will run on which day?
– Cars with odd numbers i.e. cars whose number has the last digit (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) – will run on 13, 15, 17, 19 November.
– Even numbered cars, i.e. cars whose number starts with the last digit (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 0) – will run on 14, 16, 18, 20 November.
