Bihar: Announcement of holidays regarding Diwali and Mahaparva Chhath
In Bihar, holidays have been declared for Diwali and Mahaparva Chhath. Holidays have been declared in government and private schools from November 13 to November 21. However, your status may be changed by some private schools. Diwali holiday has been declared in Kendriya Vidyalaya from 10 to 13 November. Schools will be opened once again from 14th November. Schools will be closed on November 15 on the occasion of Bhai Dooj, while Chhath Puja holiday in Kendriya Vidyalaya will be from November 18 to 20. Tamil Nadu: Holiday in schools of Tiruvarur and Karaikal today

According to the Meteorological Department, the IMD in Chennai has predicted heavy rain in areas like Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Thoothukudi, Thenkasi, Tirunelveli and Kanniyakumari.
