VIDEO: Fire breaks out in special train coming from Delhi to Bihar, passengers saved their lives by jumping

A massive fire broke out in the Darbhanga Clone Special train coming from Delhi to Bihar on Wednesday. The fire broke out when the train was passing through Sarai Bhopat railway station in UP. The fire completely engulfed the S1 sleeper bogie. The bogie in which the fire broke out had more passengers than its capacity. After the fire, passengers saved their lives by jumping from the windows.

Bihar Train Fire: A massive fire broke out in the clone special train coming from Delhi to Bihar on Wednesday evening. The fire completely engulfed the S1 coach. The fire broke out in train number 02570 when the train was passing through Sarai Bhopat railway station in Uttar Pradesh.

It was told that the coach in which the fire broke out had more passengers than its capacity. After the fire, passengers saved their lives by jumping from the windows. No casualties have been reported yet. However, in this incident, the luggage of many passengers got burnt in the bogie itself.

16 trains affected

According to information received from Railways, OHE has been closed on Howrah-Delhi route. The operation of trains on this route has been stopped for Philha. 16 trains have been affected due to this incident. Why the fire broke out is being investigated.

After starting from New Delhi, this train stops at Chhapra station after Kanpur, Gorakhpur and after reaching the border of Bihar. After this, this train reaches Darbhanga station after Muzaffarpur, Samastipur. Its scheduled time to reach Darbhanga is 10 am.
