UP Roadways Drivers Salary Hike: The salary of more than 30,000 contract workers across the state will increase by Rs 700 to Rs 1000 per month. This development has been announced by Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarwar, who has already issued an order in this regard.
UP Roadways Drivers Salary Hike: Good news awaits the contract employees of Uttar Pradesh Roadways. The salaries of contract drivers and conductors are going to increase from December 1st. Now they will get 14 paise more per kilometer.
Also, the salaries of more than 30,000 contract workers across the state will increase by Rs 700 to Rs 1000 per month. This development has been announced by Managing Director Masoom Ali Sarwar, who has already issued an order in this regard.
The Transport Corporation has made another amendment in the compensation of its conductors and drivers. Earlier they were paid Rs 1.75 per kilometre, which has now been increased to Rs 1.89 per kilometre. The higher payment is going to be effective from December 1, 2023.
According to the corporation, the basic remuneration amount payable to them has been increased. Normal drivers and conductors will have to cover a distance of 5500 kilometers in a month. With the increase of 14 paise per kilometer, they will get Rs 700 to 800 more.
Who will not get the benefit?
City buses of Noida region and contract drivers working in rural services from Kaushambi, Sahibabad and Loni depots in NCR region, all depots of NCR region and drivers under Sonauli, Siddharthnagar and Maharajganj depots will not get the benefit.
