Why is State Bank of India upgrading technology?
It is not that State Bank of India is doing this for the first time. Technology upgradation work happens from time to time. At the same time, all banks try to improve their technology from time to time. Whenever any upgrade is done, there may be a problem of transaction getting stuck or canceled during that time. In such a situation, to avoid any inconvenience, banks stop that service for some time.
Let us tell you that most of the banks do the technology upgrade work at night, when almost no one does any transaction. For this reason the bank has chosen the time after midnight. Still, people were informed about this through Twitter so that they do not face any problem.
