To buy tickets in Delhi Metro, passengers have to send a message with the text ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp to +91 9650855800 or scan the given QR code to easily buy metro tickets using their smartphones across the network. It happens.
Tickets taken through WhatsApp do not allow for cancellation. Some charges are also levied on transactions made through credit or debit cards whereas no convenience fee is charged for UPI-based transactions.

After the launch of WhatsApp based ticketing service in DTC buses, people will not have to face the crowd to get tickets and they will be able to easily book tickets for their destination even before starting the journey.
